STORY
When respected psychologist Sloan Campbell inherits her predecessors last known session tapes before his untimely demise, she discovers a dark and unsettling pattern. As she delves deeper into the center of his final case, a sinister force threatens to blur the line between modern medicine and religion. Will her pursuit for the truth force her to tow a fine line between science and the supernatural, or will she become the next victim of…the resonance.

REVIEWS
“Filmmakers Sashia R. Dumont and Paul Robinson set the stage perfectly…I love the simple world they created, set in the late 1970s. Excellent performances and a conclusion that will leave you devastated.”

“The Resonance is one of those rare shorts that takes a conventional form and rather than leach from it, adds to its aura … Dumont’s restrained but captivating performance animates the horror with a kind of full-bodied presence that holds your attention from the first … The Resonance delivers a climax steeped in atmosphere and malevolence.”

“The Resonance is a macabrely crafted film that excels in creating an atmosphere of unrelenting tension and fear. Through an outstanding lead performance, immersive sound design, and haunting cinematography, it draws the audience into a harrowing descent into the unknown.”

“Dumont maintains complete control over her vision and really delivers it. She’s got real vision, craft, and the kind of authenticity and cleverness that is severely hard to come by … The Resonance triumphs greatly by taking the road less traveled in how it builds and reveals its horror. This is smart, stripped-down filmmaking that proves great storytelling needs no bells and whistles.”
